Author: The highly anticipated Swom Open University (beta) has been released yesterday, April 25, 2010.
Just minutes after its release Swom members started to post questions. Some of the members answered some of the questions and some voted for the answers.
Swom Open University is an added feature to the Swom system.
Many Swom members enjoyed using this new feature because they can now get answers from their questions from many people and they know which are the closest answers based on the votes casted on each answers. The more votes the closest the answer.
Swom gold members enjoy more benefits on their contributions in the Open University. On every question they ask or answered, a point will be added to their Community Participation Bonus. Two points will be added if the question is voted and five points if the answer is voted.
Give a great answer to a question and you can receive many votes again and again – it is well worth the effort!
With this new feature, Community Participation Bonus can be quickly accumulated.
If you are not a Swom gold member, there are more reasons for you to go Gold!
Over the next few days, Swom will be launching the beta version of the Swom Open University…
This is a BRAND NEW AREA where you will be able to ask and answer any marketing related questions.
You will be able to share your marketing tips with other Swom members and earn reputation and community
points!
The Swom Open University will become a major part of the site. Swom are building the ultimate community-based
marketing resource – members will be able to use this to promote Swom and their other businesses.
At last, even the average Joe can soon learn the secrets of successful online marketing.

Earn Community Points
As you are a gold member, you can also *earn* as you learn!
Each member will be able to cast up to 20 votes per day on questions and answers they find useful.
You will receive community points for participating:
+1 point – ask a question
+1 point – answer a question
+2 points – your question is voted up
+5 points – your answer is voted up
You can receive multiple votes for each question and answer.
Community Points give you access to the Community Participation Bonus Pool.

A few quick updates:
** Community Chests
Many members have won Community Chests – congratulations!
Members have asked that community chests should not be counted within their daily 200 points limit… and of course… Swom always listen to it’s members!
Effective April 19th, 2010, Community Chests are no longer counted in the 200 daily points limit. This means that
you can earn as many Community Chests as you like and it will all be IN ADDITION to your 200 points daily limit!

Swom continues to grow day by day…
There are now over 32,000 active marketers using Swom to exchange ideas, share marketing tips and making
connections!
And Swom are now completed the second round of commissions calculations.
Commissions Qualification No Longer Needed!
But the good news doesn’t stop there…
When Swom introduced the new compensation plan in March, there was a requirement for members to refer 10% NEW gold members each month to qualify for ongoing residual commissions for gold referrals.
Last April 14, 2010, Swom have REMOVED this requirement – now you can just refer new members to Swom and receive $15 in the first month and $5 per month from the second month onwards, month after month!
YES Swom is SERIOUS!
And to top it all off… for members who did not qualify in the April commissions run a few days ago…
Swom have decided to waive this requirement retrospectively for EVERYONE!
This means that even if you did not qualify for the $5 ongoing monthly commissions for Gold referrals in April – your
commissions should still have been credited to your account.
All this will result in a boost in Gold membership – so… it’s time to get promoting Swom to anyone and everyone!
